OZ: The Village Of Malaise

Within the land of Gillikens country, lays the modest village of Malaise. Although, sickness and death do not plague the Land of Oz, the villagers live in fear of their neighbor to the north, the Dark Wizard. A dense fog rolls through the town night and day. Stone houses scatter across the dark, infertile land.

The villagers spend long hopeless days dedicated to their harvest they believe will not rise. Not an ounce of faith exists within these residents of Oz. They are notorious for spreading gloom onto travelers that encounter their fragile bodies. They appear with blue tinted skin, greying hair, and rotting teeth. Clothed only in ragged sacks and rags, they can be seen foraging in the nearby forest or rotting in the desolate streets filled with grime and dirt, surrounded by their poorly assembled abodes made of straw. As travelers pass by and set up to rest, the villagers of Malaise take the opportunity to skulk nearby and attempt to steal what ever possessions they can get their long, thin, crooked fingers on.
